Derlių įvertinimai yra ypatingai svarbūs perkant senesnį vyną arba ruošiantis vyną ilgai laikyti. Kadangi vyno kokybė ir laikymo potencialas kartais skiriasi, lentelėje šalia balo, įvertinančio derliaus kokybę parašytas ir laikymo potencialas šios dienos požiūriu. Ši informacija turėtų būti aktuali tiems, kurie nori įsigyti gėrimą, kuris geriausias yra būtent šiandien.
Įvertinimas yra labai bendras ir skirtas visam regionui. Tačiau kiekvieno konkretaus gamintojo atveju kokybė gali būti skirtinga nuo regiono vidurkio.
Kokybė: 9-10 – išskirtinė; 7- 8 – l. gera; 5-6 – gera; 3-4 – korektiška; 1-2 – labai vidutiniška
